Integrated Peripherals on Motherboard
PS/2 Keyboard and Mouse
Keyboard and Mouse are input devices.
Input is obtained through the keyboard and mouse. This sends the
information we need to the computer to electric signals. We can
communicate with the computer only through these. This creates a
connection between us and the computer. These are connected from the
outside to the Motherboard.
Serial port and Parallel port
Serial port and Parallel port
The serial port is transmitting Data into serial mode. Data goes one after one passage.
From Sender, Data only takes one bit at a time. Serial port has 9 pins. Mike, Modem, Mouse, Keyboard, Hard Disk are examples
of this.
Parallel port transports data to 8 bit simultaneously. There are 25 pins. But the lack of this is that sometimes the data slips from one channel to another. This sometimes results in changing signals altogether. An example of this is the Printer, Scanner, Monitor.

USB port
USB is a summary of Universal Serial Bus. It transmits data into serial mode. Including Pen drive, Mouse, Mobile and DVD Drive.
USB varies depending on version. That version will have the speed of that version.
USB1.0 – 1.5 MBPS,USB2.0 – 480 MBPS,USB3.0 - 5 GBPS
Ethernet port
This port can be used to connect to the modem and connect to a computer from another computer (LAN). This helps to create a LAN network through a physical layer.
Sound Part:This is called Jack. Sound-related data goes through this. Includes the signals given by the tool mic at the inside and bringing out the sound signals as output.
