Types of network
The network can be divided into into several categories as we use.
LAN - Local Area Network
MAN - Metropolitan Area Network
WAN - Wide Area Network
SAN - Storage Area Network
Local Area Network
The LAN network is just connecting computers in a specific company or school. An office will be the hard device equipment , such as printer and fax. All of them can be printed with our own files and can only communicate with multiple computers in that office if they connect to LAN.
If a computer in a company completes his job and saves that file, it can even open the file in the last computer. That file can be viewed on all computers connected to a LAN connection.
Metropolitan Area Network
MAN Network is a Metropolitan area network. The MAN network connects large scale computers through a wide circular network. It connects various computers in a state network.
MAN Network combines all branches of a company. Take, for instance, a company's main branch in Delhi. The company's branch is 100 km from Delhi and can be connected through the MAN network. You can also connect all branches of a company.
Wide Area Network
WAN is Wide area network. Connecting systems within a country or between countries is WAN. In this network mode you can connect any corner systems to the world.
Usually the Internet is attached to this method. In WAN network mode, information on a computer in America can be viewed on a computer in India. With this network you can multiply your business. Many social networks and advertising companies are connected to WAN.
Storage Area Network
SAN network is a storage area network. Everybody can use and share information stored in a network in this network mode.
Anyone in the world can see the data stored in Public Space as a public place in the SAN network. For example, it is possible to watch videos on youtube, even if it is on the go.
